JACK STEIN’S RECIPES
I had my first English
raspberry this week, and my
word, it was beyond delicious
- perfectly sweet, it was a
very good advert for eating
seasonally. I’ve tried to echo
this in all my recent fruit and
vegetable purchases, and it’s
had a transformative effect on
my cooking - everything just
tastes better - more vibrant,
needing less seasoning and
just overall very tasty.
COMPETITIONS
I’m making the most of
cooking whilst I still have a
kitchen - mine is due to be
ripped out in two weeks and
it will be camping stove and
air frying for two months from
there! I’ve already picked my
kitchen, but it got me thinking
about all the other areas that
need updating in my home. If
you are thinking of a similar
refresh, please check out our
home pages this edition -
they’re full of inspiring trends
and a few timeless classics.
We’ve also got some lovely
editorial on welcoming
pollinators into the garden
- as well as being essential
for your own garden’s health,
being pollinator friendly
can really improve the local
environment too.
The competition guide this
issue is a belter, with goodies
to be won in the home,
garden and some gorgeous
skincare. This, plus a lot more
makes it well worth a look
and an enter!
We will be back again in
September - I’ll be fully
rebooted and recharged into
‘Back to School’ mode. See
you then!
