ten-year overhaul at the<br />

Copenor petrochemical plant<br />

at Loon Plage, near Dunkirk;<br />

insulation of boilers for<br />

Rhône-Poulenc at Pont-de-Claix;<br />

thermal lagging of the Toray PVC<br />

film production facility at<br />

Saint-Maurice-de-Beynost.<br />

Outlook<br />

In a regressing market, which is<br />

at best stable in certain sectors,<br />

<strong>Sophiane</strong> is concentrating on<br />

operations where the expertise<br />

and capacity of its companies<br />

constitute decisive criteria for<br />

the client.<br />

The Group intends to solidify<br />

its technical advances and to<br />

convince its clientele of the<br />

unquestionable quality of its<br />

services. This strategy requires<br />

giving new impetus to the sales<br />

networks of its companies in the<br />

field, with strengthening of its<br />

presence with budget decision<br />

makers, and stressing its handson<br />

service.<br />

The preservation of <strong>Sophiane</strong>’s<br />

position on the French and<br />

German markets also depends<br />

on the ability to offer clients<br />

complete solutions, by playing<br />

the role of general contractor,<br />

especially on the occasion of<br />

technical interruptions of power<br />

plants and stations.<br />
