Profhilo Body

anti-ageing injectable

launches in New Zealand

Profhilo Body has launched in New Zealand. The

new injectable is specifically designed for use on

the body, targeting previously hard to treat areas

such as the decolletage, abdomen, top of the

knees and arms.

Hot off the back of the successful launch of

Profhilo or the face and neck, which launched

in New Zealand and Australia in 2020 and

captured global interest in cosmetic clinics

across the globe, Medical Aesthetics distributor

Dermocosmètica has secured exclusive rights to

import and distribute Profhilo Body throughout

New Zealand.

The innovative Italian-made product is now

available in over 200 cosmetic practices across

New Zealand.

“Profhilo Body has been designed to

be the benchmark in the world of

aesthetic medicine for the treatment

of skin laxity and bio-remodelling,”

says George Kypreos, Managing

Director of Dermocosmètica

“It’s an ideal option for those

who have lost their body

confidence but don’t

want to resort to

surgery. It contains

the highest

concentration

of Ultrapure

hyaluronic

acid on the

market,

which is of

exceptional

quality

and made

in Italy using

cutting-edge

technologies. It

resembles manuka

honey with how it

flows into the different

layers of skin.

“The result is lifted tissue, improved texture,

intense hydration, an overall improvement in

the skin quality with firmer skin and a significant

reduction in wrinkles severity. Profhilo Body is a

real anti-ageing treatment for men and women of

all ages and is set to transform the market just as it

Profhilo has,” says Kypreos.

Clinic 42 is one of New Zealand’s most trusted

cosmetic medicine clinics which specialises in

offering a comprehensive international range of

cutting-edge, medically based and researched,

skin enhancement and rejuvenation procedures.

Clinic 42 has been using Profhilo for the face and

neck in its Auckland-based clinic for a number of

years with exceptional results, and is excited to

offer new Profhilo Body to treat the decolletage,

abdomen, top of the knees and arms – areas

that, previously, were almost impossible to treat

without surgery.

Leading appearance medicine expert Dr Ellen

Selkon from Clinic 42 says: “Profhilo Body is

the only injectable treatment on the market

specifically designed for the treatment of body

skin laxity and is particularly recommended for the

brachial area and abdomen.

“It is a game-changer for New Zealanders

especially those who have experienced

incremental sun exposure to exposed areas such

as their hands whilst driving and are now finding

that those areas have aged prematurely.

“The perfect lunchtime treatment, it requires

minimal downtime and is safe to use, with only

10 injection points for each area needed. Being

a non-invasive treatment reduces the possibility

of bruising and swelling, while maximising the

diffusion of the product in the tissues.

“Benefits of Profhilo Body include re-modelling the

skin tissue and giving it a plumper and tighter look,

improved integrity of the skin with increases in all

seven types of collagen, elastin and hydration, plus

wound healing abilities. Best of all the results can

last for at least six months.”

Wai Ariki Hot Springs

and Spa opens

It’s a momentous milestone for

everyone involved, after surpassing

multiple obstacles, including COVID

lockdowns, supply issues and a

changing economy.

Wai Ariki Hot Springs and

Spa General Manager,

Rania Sears, says

reaching the opening

date milestone is “hugely

exciting”.

And Ms Sears says the timing is

particularly auspicious coming when the

Pleiades star cluster first starts rising

in the early morning sky for Matariki,

symbolising a new year and new

beginnings.

“While Wai Ariki’s Hot Springs and

Spa development was impacted by

inevitable COVID delays, the collective

team involved have made the most of

the extra time to refine and enhance

every element to ensure it genuinely

contributes to health and wellbeing.

“Wai Ariki is genuinely beautiful – and it

is like nothing else in the world.”

The luxury wellness spa is a 4453m2

development on Rotorua’s newly

transformed lakefront and is grounded

in te ao Māori.
