Welcome to the winter

issue of BeautyNZ

This issue is coming to you hot of the press from the NZ Hair & Beauty Expo (even

though you may not receive it in your hands until a week or so later). We managed

to hold off going to print until immediately after the event, allowing us to include

a quick wrap up and some Expo coverage, with more detailed follow-up content to

come in our next issue of BeautyNZ.

BeautyNZ magazine is a professional beauty trade

magazine published on behalf of the New Zealand

Association of Registered Beauty Professionals Inc.

The NZARBP is recognised as the premier industry

organisation with a 50 year history of supporting

members, regulating the industry and the promotion

of a qualified workforce. The non-profit group

educates, informs, provides advice and keeps the

industry up to date with the latest information

through its magazine.

So, as I write this, we’re still on a high at the opportunity to spend time with SO

many people truly passionate and driven around making this industry successful.

It was also a fantastic opportunity to embrace the passion of those who chose to

be part of the NZH&B Expo, and see first-hand the latest technology, innovations,

products and training available.

The change of location to Viaduct Events Centre elevated the entire experience,

with the bright modern venue a fitting alignment to the cutting-edge technology

and products being showcased.

Actually managing to get face to face with distributors, business owners, brand

founders, educators and trainers rarely happens, so there was definitely a positive

vibe and general air of excitement. The amount of behind the scenes work that

goes into making an event like this happen is enormous, so congratulations to

all involved – organisors, exhibitors, guest speakers and visitors – and looking

forward to next year’s event ( June 15/16) at the same venue.

We hope there’s plenty in this winter issue

of BeautyNZ to fire up your motivation,

inspire and entertain. Plus don’t forget to

enter our awesome competitions

(pages 7 and 61). Good luck!
