MEMBERSHIP REPORT by JULIE SONS So happy to see 40 Corvettes at our June picnic. Thanks to Jimmy for taking some awesome arial drone pictures. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we had a great day. Thanks for coming and making our picnic a great success. We had a light turnout at the June meeting with 48 members in attendance and 2 guests. Our guests included: Dennis & Leta Ward ~ 2007 Atomic Orange Our total membership is still 95. Any and all guests are invited to join us at any of our club sanctioned activities or events. Just be sure to sign up on the clipboards and add your cell number to sheet Happy Birthday to the those with July Birthdays: Skip Garrison Jul-22 Jimmy Webb Jul 07 Nancy Henson Jul 11 Lance Pitt Jul 24 Happy Anniversary to the following July couples: Andy & Connie Anderson July 14, 1962 61 Years Herbert & Freida Null July 21, 2001 22 Years Congratulations to the Lebda’s who was the $25 cash Anniversary winner last month.
JUNE SUNSHINE & CLOUDS Surgery/Health Update: Mike King had a procedure to remove a melanoma from his neck region. He still has some discomfort but doing ok. Especially since the results were insitu meaning it is not involved and fully removed. Jill’s son in law John had one kidney removed due to cancer diagnosis last Thursday and was in the hospital for a few days but it recovering nicely and is back home. Joyce had Mohs surgery to remove some skin cancer on her scalp and is doing ok Tom Jarvis update: He has been out of rehab for the past 3 weeks and has lost 70 #’s. He tires quickly and his speech is slurred. As you know he had a second bypass surgery due to a leaking valve issue and he didn’t tolerate Anesthesia well. He continues to recover at home. Walt Spate continues take baby steps towards his recovery. They were talking about moving him to the chemo floor and is working with his Oncology team to make a treatment plan. Debbie Garrison fell and broke her shoulder and had surgery which consisted of a imbedding a plate and screws She is home and is recovering nicely. Gary Linsner had 3 hernia repairs a few weeks ago and is recovering nicely. He said he now ready to get on a scooter again. LOL Oh My Gosh. When Frieda does something, she does it good. While attempting to feed some stray cats at one of her local establishments, she inadvertently forgot to place her car in park as she stepped out and lost her
