MSU DENVER

CARE Team

The MSU Denver Campus Assessment, Response & Evaluation (CARE) Team

provides early assessment and referral when a student’s behavior is identified as

concerning, risky or potentially harmful to self, others or the community. The Dean of

Students Office and the Student Care Center collaborate to respond to CARE referrals

submitted for struggling or distressed students. Through the CARE Team referrals,

students can benefit from individualized case management, crisis support, referrals

to resources and other guidance to stay safe, successful and healthy in college. If

you are concerned about someone’s behavior or welfare, trust your gut and pass the

information along to trained staff who can help.

CARE Team Oversight

MSU Denver’s CARE Team operates under the Division of Academic and Student Affairs,

through the Office of Student Engagement and Wellness/Dean of Student’s Office.

How to File a CARE Report

The CARE Team relies on members of our community to share information when they

observe student behavior that is concerning, risky or potentially harmful to self or others.

To share any such behavior, please file a CARE report by going to:
