Directors of America (CoSIDA). Grace
was a first team pick and earned Academic
All-America® honors for the first
time in her career. In November, she was
named to the Capital One Academic
All-District III first team. To be eligible
for Academic All-America consideration, a
student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key
reserve, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30
on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore
athletic and academic standings at his/her
current institution and be nominated by his/
her sports information director.

Hannah Fox ’10 has enlisted in the
army as a linguist and completed basic
training. She is on her way to Monterey
California to the Defense Language
Institute, where she will be immersed in
the Persian culture and language. When
she completes her training, the army will
send her where she will use her language
skills for the next three years.

Day at the Downs
Presentation Academy’s “Day at
the Downs” was held at Churchill
Downs’ Millionaires Row on June
23, 2012. Alumnae, supporters, and
friends of Presentation Academy
dressed up and enjoyed the Chef’s
Table lunch buffet while wagering at
a private betting window and watching
the races with a balcony view.
Race #3 was the “Presentation Academy
Classic,” and at the conclusion
of the race Sister Chris Beckett and
many alumnae representatives were
on hand to congratulate the winning
horse, Toxis, and to present the
trophy to the winning jockey, Shaun
Bridgmohan.
