Product Properties
Descofi x Plus is a liquid concentrate for the combined
disinfection and cleaning of medical devices, medical
products and all kinds of surfaces. Its formulation is based
on glutaral and ethandial. Descofi x Plus is free from
phenols and formaldehyde as well as quaternary ammonium
compounds. The composition of Descofi x Plus is compatible
with all cleaner types and can even be used in combination
with cleaners based on anionic tensides. Adhesive effects
on surfaces are effi ciently avoided by the user-friendly
formulation of the product.
Range of Application
Acc. to MPG (medical device law): Disinfection and cleaning
of medical devices.
Acc. to Biocides Directive: Disinfection and cleaning of
medical inventory and all kinds of surfaces.
Application
Descofi x Plus can be applied for the disinfection and
cleaning of surfaces and devices by:
1. scrubbing and mopping, e.g. by means of the 2-bucketmethod
or similar procedures.
2. application out of central and non-central measuring
machines
3. the use of cleaning machines
4. spraying out of stationary or mobile disinfection units
5. application from refi llable dosage bottles
6. usage for all non-thermal bedpan sinks
Antimicrobial Properties
Descofi x Plus is:
- bactericidal (incl. MRSA)
- fungicidal (C. albicans) / levurocidal
- virus inactivating ( HBV/HIV)
Prevents germination of spores.

Special Information
Harmful by inhalation and if swallowed. Irritating to
respiratory system and skin. Risk of serious damage to eyes.
May cause sensitisation by inhalation and skin contact.
Possible risks of irreversible effects.
In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of
water and seek medical advice. This material and its container
must be disposed of in a safe way.
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and face/eye
protection. In case of accident or if you feel unwell seek
medical advice (show the label where possible). Do not
breathe vapour/aerosol.
Use only in well-ventilated areas.
Use disinfectants in a safe way.
