Submitted by Harry Dhillon • Photos by Jose Moreno
In the heart of the Mountain House community,
a vibrant group of young athletes have
come together to form an extraordinary
youth football team known as “The Mountain
House Stallions.” These dedicated
youngsters, aged 6 to 14, epitomize the
spirit of camaraderie, determination, and
sportsmanship as they take to the field to
pursue their passion for football, while representing
the town they are growing up in.
“The Mountain House Stallions” are more
than just a team; they are a close-knit family
bound by a shared love for the game. Each
member brings their unique talents and
personalities, contributing to the team’s
synergy both on and off the field. Whether
it’s an exciting touchdown celebration or
a comforting pat on the back after a tough
loss, these young athletes exemplify the
importance of unity and friendship in sports.
The Stallions take their football seriously,
constantly striving for excellence. Under
the guidance of dedicated coaches, they
work diligently on mastering the fundamentals
of the game – from precise passes,
safe techniques for tackling to perfecting
their footwork that can be utilized in any
form of athletics. With each practice session,
they inch closer to realizing their full
potential, paving the way for a promising
future in football.
Beyond the field, The Mountain House Stallions
actively engage with their community,
organizing charity events, fundraisers, and
youth outreach programs. They understand
the importance of giving back and nurturing
the next generation of aspiring athletes.
Their commitment to community involvement
highlights their character and values.
As we watch the Stallions take to the football
field, we see not only talented athletes
but also the future leaders of our community.
Their dedication, teamwork, and unwavering
passion for the game make them
role models for their peers and a source
of pride for our community. With every
practice and game, they will inch closer to
realizing their dreams and becoming the
football stars of tomorrow.
A year ago, the Mountain House Stallions
was just an idea to bring together our local
youth through competitive football. Today,
the Stallions have come together with over
a hundred players and a community of
supporters to make them the hottest ticket
in town. The Stallions hosted their inaugural
football home games on September
09, 2023. BElow are some pictures from
