Satellite broadband<br />
A potentially significant enhancement to<br />
value and choice in broadband was achieved<br />
when Starlink Internet Services Limited, <strong>on</strong>e<br />
<strong>of</strong> the leading global satellite operators, was<br />
granted a licence by the <str<strong>on</strong>g>GCRA</str<strong>on</strong>g> to provide<br />
satellite services in Guernsey. Take-up is<br />
relatively low at this early stage compared<br />
to other broadband technologies; we<br />
understand those who receive the service<br />
are receiving very high speeds and<br />
satisfacti<strong>on</strong> with the service is high.<br />
