COUNSELLING SERVICETUS Student Counselling Service offers professionaland confidential psychological counselling which isFREE to registered students, staffed by highly qualifiedand experienced psychologists, psychotherapists, andcounsellors.Our aim is to provide professional, high calibre,accessible and student-centred psychological andemotional support for students. Students who presentin crisis are prioritised for support.What issues do counsellors deal with?The short answer is everything, really! We supportstudents with a wide range of issues including mentalhealth issues, depression, anxiety panic attacks,bereavement and loss, family, interpersonal orrelationship issues, self-esteem, sexual trauma/rape/sexual abuse, academic issues, disordered eating, andsubstance misuse. Whatever your issue, if you are inemotional distress, we encourage you to seek support.The Counselling Services offer a variety ofpsychoeducational workshops and webinarsin areas such as overcoming anxiety, buildingresilience, managing exam stress. Wealso host guided mindfulness sessions forstudents throughout the academic year.We invite you to participate in our positivemental health promotion initiatives andmental health awareness campaigns as partof our ongoing commitment to promotingstudent wellbeing and success.682.1 Support Services
