Congratulations to the 2023 Jackson Prep Mindprints literary
magazine staff for receiving top honors at the Mississippi Scholastic
Press Association fall conference at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Awards bestowed were Best Literary Magazine Finalist, Best Layout
and Design Finalist, Best Continuity of Theme Winner, Best Quality of
Visuals Finalist, and Adviser of the Year Finalist. Students receiving
special recognition were Best Poem Finalist Miriam Caballero for
“Poetry, I Love,” Best Photo Winner Gray Hawkins for “Ominous Signs,”
Best Graphic Illustration Art Finalist Kennedy Buchanan and
Best Spread Design Winner Kendrick Rogers for “Grief.”
