Office of Pre-College Programs
has been providing high school
students with the opportunity
to explore college majors and
potential career paths through its
renowned pre-college programs.
Students choose from over 100
credit or noncredit courses either
on campus or online. All courses
are taught by Syracuse University
faculty and instructors. Students
learn to balance freedom and
responsibility much like a college
student and they return home
feeling more confident, enthusiastic,
and ready for college.

Vanderbilt Summer Academy (VSA) is an accelerated
residential program for academically advanced 7th
through 12th grade students. One- and two-week
summer courses offer opportunities for rigorous
scholarly exploration, while residential programming

evening activities and enjoy free time to make
