INTRODUCING THE MY FATHER'S HOUSE-ANNEX AS CCM’S NEWEST COMPONENT IN OUR
TRANSITIONAL HOUSING CONTINUUM. The program is built on CCM's comprehensive Path to Stability
model and is structured to include expectant and newly parenting mothers through a partnership with
the SUN Clinic at the Cabarrus Health Alliance (CHA) and through funding from the McKenzie Opioid
Settlement Grant.
The “Annex” represents a collaborative between
Memorial Baptist Church of Kannapolis, Cabarrus
Health Alliance, Atrium Health - Cabarrus and
Cannon Charitable Interests. The facility will
provide housing and services for five resident
families and will complete the replacement of
capacity lost in 2022 with the closing of My
Father's House.
Through this partnership, CHA will work
collaboratively with CCM to support these
women and children. This partnership will
encourage continued recovery through ongoing
participation in the SUN Clinic program
which includes behavioral health counseling,
medication management, peer support specialist
services and a host of wrap around services
provided by SUN Project community partners.
