THEME STORY
In a world that has long been dominated by the roar of combustion engines, a
new era is silently emerging, promising to reshape the automotive landscape.
The theme of this magazine, "Electric Vehicles: Ignite the Silence," encapsulates
the transformative journey that electric vehicles (EVs) are undertaking, ushering
in a quiet revolution that is as powerful as it is understated.
The automotive industry is at a pivotal juncture, with electric vehicles
increasingly becoming the focal point of innovation and sustainability. The
phrase "Ignite the Silence" alludes not only to the quiet operation of electric
vehicles but also to the profound impact they are making on environmental
conservation and urban living.
One of the defining characteristics of electric vehicles is their near-silent
operation. The absence of the traditional internal combustion engine's rumble
gives rise to an almost meditative driving experience, where the hum of the
electric motor becomes a symphony of progress. As cities around the globe
grapple with noise pollution, the advent of electric vehicles brings a welcome
respite, contributing to the creation of quieter, more livable urban spaces.
Beyond the auditory transformation, electric vehicles play a pivotal role in
reducing our carbon footprint and combating climate change. With zero tailpipe
emissions, EVs are at the forefront of sustainable transportation. As the world
confronts the challenges of environmental degradation, the silent revolution of
electric vehicles becomes a beacon of hope, illuminating the path towards a
greener and more sustainable future.
As we flip through the pages of "Electric Vehicles: Ignite the Silence," we embark
on a journey of discovery and inspiration. It is a celebration of a quiet revolution
that is reshaping our streets, our cities, and our planet. In the midst of the
silence, the electric vehicle emerges as a powerful force, igniting a brighter,
cleaner, and more sustainable future for generations to come.

Kalman Filter & Machine Learning
A Kalman Filter is an algorithm that takes data inputs from multiple sources and
estimates unknown variables, despite a potentially high level of signal noise. Often
used in navigation and control technology, the Kalman Filter has the advantage of
being able to predict unknown values more accurately than if individual predictions
are made using singular methods of measurement. Kalman Filters use a two-step
process for estimating unknown variables. The algorithm works by first estimating the
current state variables, and measures their uncertainties. Then, the algorithm
updates the estimates using a weighted average, wherein more weight is attributed
to estimates with higher levels Of uncertainty. Because the filter takes in information
from multiple sources, both current state and predicted state, the filter is able to
provide a level of accuracy higher than if estimates were made given only one of the
multiple sources.
One of the most common uses for the Kalman Filter is in navigation and positioning
technology. Imagine a car with a GPS transmitter is traveling down a mountain road.
A Kalman Filter can be applied to take in the GPS data from the car, however GPS
devices are not always entirely accurate. So, the Kalman Filter can take in speed
and velocity data to adjust the rate of change in the cars position over time.
Naturally, given the laws of physics, the level of variable uncertainty is lower when
the car is traveling faster, and vice versa. All of this information is used to predict
where the car will be, and then the process is repeated with updated information as
the car travels down the road. Because the Kalman Filter is recursive, it doesn't need
to know the entirety of the cars position and speed data, but rather just the last
known position and speed.
Hidden Markov Model (HMM) is a statistical Markov model in which the model states
are hidden. It is important to understand that the state of the model, and not the
parameters of the model, are hidden.
15
A Markov model with fully known parameters is still called a HMM. While the model
state may be hidden, the state-dependent output of the model is visible.
Information about the state of the model can be gleaned from the probability
distribution over possible output tokens because each model state creates a
different distribution. A sequence of output tokens will provide insight into the
sequence of states in a process known as pattern theory. The main usefulness of
HMM is the recovery of a data sequence that is hidden by observing the output
which is dependent on that hidden data sequence. Two people, let’s call them Isla
and Donnie, talk about food they like to eat. Donnie likes to eat pizza, pasta and
pie. He tends to choose which to eat depending on his emotions. Isla has a rough
understanding of the likelihood that Donnie is happy or upset and his tendency to
pick food based on those emotions. Donnie’s food choice is the Markov process and
Isla knows the parameters but she does not know the state of Donnie’s emotions; this
is a hidden Markov model. When they talk, Isla can determine the probability of
Donnie being either happy or upset based on which of the three foods he chose to
eat at a given moment
Applications of HMMs include:
Computational finance.
Cryptanalysis.
Speech recognition, like Apple's Siri.
Handwriting recognition.
Time series analysis.
HMMs are particularly useful in scenarios where there's hidden information
that can be inferred from observable data, making them a powerful tool in
various fields.

intresting, perspectives collide, interact, match and improve. A writer is
a magician they create something from nothing.
A well written book was once an empty page. But the success depends
on the reader. Both the writer and reader are like gears of a single
machine both goes hand in hand,
22
"A writer only begins a book, a reader finishes it"
So we hope you have fun reading our magazine!!
We are a little different!
Often, when we're upset or facing tough times, people might ask, 'Why are you stressing so much?' or
'Why are you letting things affect you?' I don't blame them, they're trying to help or comfort us.
However, no one intentionally chooses stress or anxiety. Many of us, myself included, struggle to
stop stressing or feeling anxious. It's not that we want it, it's just difficult for us not to stress or be
anxious. Trying to overcome it becomes harder when forced, adding to our problems. These questions
are like the cherry on top. All we want is to feel understood—understand that it's tough not to stress
or feel anxious. Our minds and hearts tend to overthink, worsening things and causing anxiety and
stress.
We might come off as rude because we're tired of hearing questions to which we have no answers.
We're exhausted hearing these questions from people, even our families, telling us to stop stressing.
We don't know how to make them understand that we don't want this, that we do overthink and
stress more, but it's not entirely in our control. Sometimes, trying not to stress leads to even more
stress. Over the years, I've realized that forcefully telling myself not to stress doesn't work. Accepting
reality and giving myself time does. It might sound odd because these people are trying to help, but
sometimes, trust me, it doesn't. It only adds to our suffering. Instead of advising us in these ways, it
would be better if others tried to understand us a little more.
To those suffering, I suggest giving yourself time to discover what works best for you during these
times. Understand and accept what you're going through it might make things a bit easier."

Us Uncanny
Their once lived a boy very cheerful full of joy, but as he grew challenges started to brew and as time went by ,
once noted as shy he was called sly. For he who was unaffected or was considered to be atleast, was a person
with much greater understanding and kindness just unseen by others due to his unability to express himself.
Now are you that guy/girl who thinks they are not the same as others. When the whole group thinks And feel the
same about a particular subject you are not just on the same frequency with them.Well my friend you are not
alone , not feeling the same emotion or not feeling as strongly about something as others is fine it's not a bad
thing or it does not mean you are insensitive.Often we are judged on our choices, actions, thoughts and many
more. It is difficult for you to choose when given an option , difficult to decide on things, difficult to tell what you
feel ,you don't cry on matters which makes other folks tear, you don't seem to mind things which others do mind,
you might find yourself being neutral when others are putting forth their opinion.
Does that make you feel uncanny, does this make you indiffrent or weird or someone who just doesn't care. But
you are the person who constantly think about others you don't worry but you think, you dont want to hurt
others or see them sad. You are the kindest soul just misunderstood or difficult to read, some might say you don't
share your problems or you don't have problems in the first place, but the truth is you just don't know how to
word what you feel, how to express your emotions, how to convey your thoughts you do have problems but you
know you can deal with them or you are the only one who can solve them.
If you are thinking you are the only person who is this uncanny, unsophisticated and awkward well you are not,
though not many we do absolutely exist and it is fine the way we are it is not a bad thing not in the slightest.
And though it might take some time everything will play out just fine. And as they say opposites attract we
being we attract our same kind and the awesomest people.
So rather than being called UNCANNY i'll call us UNIQUE!

Life is an opportunity, grab it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy

The Second
I have always been the second
They always put me second,
Why I can't be first?
Out of all people why her? And not me?
I was there when she was not, then why not
me?
No one can love me like I do but you choose her
over me
When you were hurt by her I was there, I held
you, why it can't be me?
All the things, I did, so just you can be mine,
But the things you did was break my heart,
You made me forget how to be happy
You made me lose my breath and made me
insane,
You made me fall and I have never been able to
collect the broken pieces,
You said i am the only flower in your garden
and now you cut down me and plant another
on my place.

I Wanna Fall
I wanna soar above,
From up high;
Let go of my worries,
Saying GOODBYE.
Giving wings to my dreams,
And flying high,
Listening to the static,
Deep into the fading sky.
When I woke up,
My life felt like a lie,
But I am no longer shy,
I no longer cry.
Life gave me pain,
I opened champagne,
And hit the bull's eye.
Because I wanna fly high...

Mess
You said you love me
but you don't love my part, which I don't
know
How to love,
You said you love me
but you don't want to be a part of my mess,
You said you love me
but you don't want to see me heal,
You said you love me
but you are stabbing my scars,
I love you, I love you more than everything
but my healing is way more important than
you,
You said you love me
but I want to be free,
You said you love me
but your love is traumatic,
I can't heal you while I am healing myself
I will let you go for you
or me...
What are we?
Maybe we are too small,
Maybe we are too big.
What are we?
We are either what we show,
Or what we hide inside us.
We are either gods or sinners,
Maybe we are neither gods nor sinners.
Maybe we are what we choose to be,
We are what we want to.
Are we what pictures hold us?
Or are we what we don't capture?
Are we little fragments of the universe,
Or are we hiding the whole universe inside us?
The Color Unleashed
In a world of canvas and clay,
Where imagination holds sway,
The artist's soul takes flight,
In colors, shapes, and light.
With every stroke of the brush,
A story begins to gush,
From the depths of their being,
A masterpiece they are freeing.
What are we?
What are our stories?
Some days we are the owners of a house full of smiles,
And some days we are the owners of a house full of
sorrow.
But in the end,
All we own is ourselves,
All we have is ourselves.
So, let's keep asking ourselves,
What are we?

Hero with a Cap
The man of the words
You deserve the best.
That wound inside the chest,
Which is painless to you,
Who gave it? When you deserve the rest,
You deserve the best.
Walked straight to home as school ends,
Talk less to people as they are unknown you said
To the man who never mind on your low grades,
You deserve the best.
Like the birds in the nest, we are to you,
For the unsaid love, dad we love you too
You are our proud chest.
Dad you deserve the best.

They paint with passion and grace,
Capturing emotions in every trace,
With hues that dance and intertwine,
Creating a world that is truly divine.
Their hands sculpt with tender care,
Breathing life into stone and air,
From rough edges, beauty emerges,
As their artistry gently converges.
The artist's eye sees beyond,
Into realms where dreams respond,
They capture moments, frozen in time,
With their art, a legacy they'll climb.
Through the highs and lows they tread,
Their creativity is never misled,
For in their craft, they find solace,
A sanctuary where their spirit blossoms.
So let us celebrate the artist's might,
Their boundless imagination taking flight,
For they bring colors to our world,
With their art, forever unfurled.

T h e I m p a c t o f s o c i a l m e d i a o n m e n t a l h e a l t h
In today's interconnected world, social media platforms have become an integral part of our daily lives.
Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok offer unprecedented opportunities for connection,
information-sharing, and self-expression. However, alongside their benefits, concerns have arisen about the
potential impact of social media on mental health.
On the positive side, social media provides a space for individuals to connect with friends, family, and
acquaintances, especially those who may be geographically distant. This can be especially valuable for
maintaining relationships in an increasingly globalized world. Moreover, social media has played a significant
role in raising awareness about mental health issues. Campaigns, hashtags, and user-generated content have
contributed to reducing stigma and normalizing conversations about mental well-being. Platforms like
Instagram and YouTube have become hubs for mental health education. Influencers, therapists, and
organizations share valuable insights, coping strategies, and resources, making information more accessible
to a wider audience.
However, one of the most prevalent concerns associated with social media is the tendency for users to
compare themselves to others. The carefully curated nature of posts can lead to feelings of inadequacy,
jealousy, and low self-esteem. This phenomenon, often referred to as "social media envy," can have a
significant impact on mental health. Additionally, while social media platforms offer opportunities for
positive interactions, they can also be breeding grounds for cyberbullying and harassment. The anonymity
provided by the digital landscape can embolden individuals to engage in hurtful behaviors, which can have
severe consequences on mental health, leading to feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation.
Furthermore, excessive use of social media can lead to addictive behavior. Constantly checking notifications
and scrolling through feeds can consume large chunks of time and attention, potentially detracting from
other important activities and causing disruptions in daily routines.
To navigate the potential pitfalls of social media, mindful consumption is crucial. Being aware of the content
you consume and recognizing when it may be negatively impacting your mood or self-image can help in
curating a more positive online experience. Unfollowing or muting accounts that contribute to negative
feelings can be a helpful step in this direction. Setting limits on screen time and prioritizing activities that
promote physical and mental well-being is also essential. Engaging in outdoor activities, exercise, face-toface
interactions, and hobbies can provide a healthy balance to online interactions. If you find that social
media is significantly affecting your mental health, seeking the advice of a mental health professional can
provide valuable strategies for coping and finding balance. They can offer personalized guidance tailored to
your specific needs.
In conclusion, social media is a powerful tool that can have both positive and negative effects on mental
health. Recognizing its influence and implementing mindful practices can help individuals navigate the digital
landscape in a way that promotes mental well-being. Remember, it's important to prioritize self-care and
seek support when needed, both online and offline.

DEALING WITH FAILURE
“Failing to attempt is the biggest failure in life.”
Every failure teaches a valuable lesson. So, it can be viewed as virtually a necessity for both
career and character growth. In fact, failure is a logical step towards success . Generally ,
people tend to hide their mistakes or shovel them onto someone else’s shoulder whenever they
meet with failure. Instead, it would be worth to meet their mistakes head-on , call attention to
them in order to find some effective means of damage control and learn that can be applied in
a future similar situation.
How a person deals with failure depends to a large extent on his ego resilience – whether his
sense of self worth bounces back after defeat or it is crushed. Some people have large ego
which is impermeable. They either do not admit the mistake ever occurred or cover it up
whenever possible. They thus never learn a lesson from their failure and are doomed to repeat
their mistakes again and again. It is just because they never accept their mistakes in first place.
It becomes difficult for people to differentiate between a temporary failure and permanent one.
For them it is like gambling, where a player always convinces himself that the next hand would
change his luck.
The best way to guard yourself in such situations is by encouraging and creating an
environment where accurate information is accepted and valued . Do not be afraid to seek
unbiased opinions wherever necessary. When things go wrong way, instead of making
decisions single handedly, look for a partner to discuss and help you in making a decision. If
circumstances demand, seek reconciliation with an adversary. If you win, be wise enough to
bring the defeated rival into your camp. Do not unnecessarily cling to an idea beyond its
heyday and do not part with your idea until the time is ripe for it . learn to wait for
appropriate moment and lastly, do not ever ignore your competitors or competition.
The best way is to engage in some form of damage control and make yourself very busy
fighting the good fight. Ask yourself a big question: What’s the worst thing that could
happen??? Knowing how the failure is would be a lot more comforting than facing unknown
doom which can increase with your imagination. Everyone makes mistakes. In fact , to err is
human. So, do not be afraid to make mistakes. They teach you so much more than success
does. What is important , however is to learn from the mistakes of the past and not to
mindlessly repeat them. You have nothing to lose by facing it and making yourself look for an
opportunity.
