This is the time of year when those of us in the Midwest begin to push through our<br />

cabin fever and are itching to get busy. My wife, Ellen, tends to focus her energy on<br />

organizing the interior of the home, sorting through drawers and closets, collecting<br />

piles of clothes and housewares to be donated or pitched.<br />

My thoughts tend to stray outside. Maybe I stop and clean up a few things in the<br />

garage on my way, but I tend to circle the house and see what work needs to be done.<br />

Is the landscaping looking a bit ragged? Do my garage doors need attention? Is this<br />

the year to get my paver patio rebuilt? And what about that outdoor living space<br />

we’ve been wanting?<br />

If you’re like us, you may need some inspiration to get started. I can’t think of a better<br />

place to do that than the <strong>Cincinnati</strong> Home + Garden show which begins <strong>February</strong><br />

24. Experts will be on hand to answer just about any home and garden question<br />

you may have. See page 29 for specific details. They will have organization experts<br />
