Why We Support GDF
EPHRATA
NATIONAL BANK
Over the last 14 years Lewisburg students have benefited
greatly from the generosity of businesses that have made
donations through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement
Tax Credit program. During the 2022-23 school year, GDF
received $60,000 through the EITC program, supporting
innovative programs throughout the Lewisburg Area School
District. Ephrata National Bank has been an EITC partner for
Lewisburg students through its involvement in this program
since 2021.
When asked why Ephrata National Bank chose GDF as a
recipient of its EITC contributions, Danielle Beck, Vice President,
Director of Fiduciary Services, stated, “Ephrata National Bank
is thrilled to partner with GDF through the EITC Program to
assist in their mission of providing cutting-edge facilities,
equitable opportunities, and an advanced curriculum to
provide an environment where students grow, learn, and

The EITC program, administered by the PA Department of Community & Economic Development,
awards tax credits to eligible businesses that make contributions to educational improvement
organizations like The Green Dragon Foundation. A gift to GDF can provide your company with a
substantial tax credit—75 percent credit (against taxes owed) or, with a written two-year commitment
