The Big Cuddle
The tiger suffers from the Great Uncuddliness: He is always grumpy. When the other animals see
him from the corner, they search for a hide. Because when he catches them, he loudly tells them
everything he doesn't like!
Though one day there's a knock at his door. A cuddle toy is waiting behind to move in and roll
around the tiger’s place as much as he likes. Unaffected the cuddly toy gives lessons in friendliness,
empathy, and politeness. And the tiger is supposed to practice all that too! Can he resist the big
cuddly toy?
»Moreover, I have an
allergy to niceness
and an intolerance
to politeness! All my
stripes fall off then! And
all my teeth as well.
Look, this one is already
wobbling!«
Josef the Lazy Cat
Josef enjoys the sweet life with digestive naps and brain relaxation. Only
once a day he must get off the sofa and walk along the garden to the end
of the world, to the litter tray. And that's when it happens: He catches
a flea! Fortunately, the cat knows that he can get rid of it if he finds a
new host. The only problem is that potential flea hosts are not hanging
around the sofa. So, the lazy and fat one needs to be out and about!
Either in the role of a guinea pig hairdresser, a choir teacher for cat
ladies, the world’s best cuddly cat, football coach of the dog team…
No matter what, Josef the cat leaves no stone unturned. A marvelous
story written and illustrated by Franziska Biermann.
To mark the 100th birthday of the great Austrian children's poet,
a lovingly compiled collection to enchant little dreamers.
The poems tell imaginative and poetic stories of tired little
Heart-Warming Stories with the Little Fox
»Today I'm the happiest animal in the whole forest!« says the happy little fox. In a simple and empathetic way,
he experiences very different moments of happiness that he encounters every day in the forest: The unexpected
happiness that creeps up on him quietly and softly is just as likely to appear as the exuberant happiness.
He discovers that happiness can also be contagious and can even be shared in special moments.
I like stories about the little fox because they
provide such beautiful answers to children's
questions. The beauty lies in the fact that
the question is answered from different
perspectives, showing that there are many
views and opinions. The fox finds the answer
that suits him. The individual animals offer
different perspectives, making it easy to
engage in conversation with the children,
