Digital Skills for Seniors<br />

Better Digital Futures is a chance<br />
for seniors to improve their digital<br />
literacy and gain confidence in using<br />
technology. It is a 5-week course<br />
introducing the basics of computing;<br />
using I-pads, Chromebooks and<br />
users’ own devices such as laptops<br />
Next Door Neighbours: All week, all day, South Library. On display<br />
is an exhibition of acrylic and watercolour paintings called Next Door<br />
Neighbours. The works have been painted by Hugh Barwick and Ian<br />
Cocks, who are neighbours and both are enthusiastic painters. Barwick<br />
has been painting for many years in watercolours and acrylics and over<br />
the years has sold a number of his works. Cocks started painting more<br />
recently and has concentrated on painting landscapes in acrylics. The<br />
exhibition runs throughout <strong>March</strong>.<br />

a smaller, mobile ‘sibling’. Local<br />
heritage comes to life with this<br />
unique interactive touchscreen<br />
technology that lets all explore the<br />
history of the city. Try it out as it visits<br />

Anyone can come and play Scrabble<br />
