Walk to welcome the change of season. Tuesday, March
19th at 5:00 pm in Nelson’s Lakeside Rotary Park at the Lakeside
Labyrinth.

A musical exploration
of darkness and light...
through music by Mozart, Prokofiev, Chopin, and Wieniawski
Born in Nelson, BC, violinist Natasha Hall has spent the last decade
in London, performing with the English Chamber Orchestra,
the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and the Royal Philharmonic.
She has recently returned to live in her hometown of Nelson.
Yoomi Kim, pianist, holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in
Piano Performance from the University of Cincinnati where she
also completed a Master of Music in Conducting. Dr. Kim has
taught chamber orchestra, choir, and piano at the Lester B. Pearson
United World College of the Pacific, and she teaches at the
Victoria Conservatory of Music.
Thursday, Mar 21, 7pm – St Andrew’s United Church, Kaslo
at Sunnyside, Willow Home Gallery
Tickets: $25 and at the Door.
School-aged children free when accompanied by an adult patron
daylight. Labyrinth walking is easy peasy, no experience necessary.
Just one foot in front of the other as we spiral our way into
the centre and then out again. Studies have shown that labyrinth
walking calms the nervous system and promotes a sense of well
being.
The Lakeside Labyrinth is located in Nelson’s Rotary Lakeside
Park near BOB (Big Orange Bridge). It is wheelchair accessible,
washrooms are nearby and it is always free to walk.
This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Lakeside Labyrinth
and a special celebration walk will be held alongside the
Summer Solstice walk on Thursday, June 20th. Celebrate the
20th on the 20th!

Taghum Hall Celebrates Spring
Truthfully, Taghum Hall is always celebrating, but March and
April are no exception. Brushes and Lunch, a popular Taghum
Hall offering, is a chance for folks to learn the fine points of art
creation with a local painter—with lunch! This time painter,
potter, and author Lee Rawn will help participants embrace the
beauty of the blossom in a watercolour
workshop on Saturday, March 23

Finally, an early heads-up for an
upcoming concert with astonishing

Australian musician Daniel
Champagne was coming to Taghum
Hall on April 10—and the event has
almost sold out! So he’s added a second
concert on April 9 at 7:30pm so
that more people can experience this
exceptional talent. Beloved in his
