fun and unique pho<strong>to</strong> opportunities <strong>to</strong> take<br />
with your family and friends. Artworks ranging<br />
from umbrellas and funky s<strong>to</strong>refront murals <strong>to</strong><br />
entire building walls dedicated <strong>to</strong> celebrating<br />
the arts of our local community are great picture<br />
opportunities of your visit <strong>to</strong> Fairmont. Sometimes,<br />
you will even find our Down<strong>to</strong>wn Fairmont Street<br />
piano ready <strong>to</strong> be played!<br />
During your visit down<strong>to</strong>wn, you will also<br />
notice many decorated pigs on street corners<br />
and intersections. This project is known as<br />
“Going Hog Wild”. “Going Hog Wild” was<br />
created <strong>to</strong> attract visi<strong>to</strong>rs <strong>to</strong> the local area while<br />
also commemorating our strong pork industry.<br />
Each hog statue spotlights local businesses and<br />
organizations along with showcasing the work of<br />
a local artist. Today, 101 hog statues are featured<br />
throughout <strong>Martin</strong> <strong>County</strong>.<br />
