FROM THE TEAM<br />
A Sense of Community<br />
Nearly 32 million people in North America witnessed<br />
the celestial solar eclipse – a shared experience<br />
that brought together families, friends, and<br />
strangers to scenic locations, town or social gatherings, on road trips, and even<br />
highway rest areas. As we’ve become more digital, the opportunity to share in an<br />
experience that’s bigger than us was what we needed. We hope you got to enjoy<br />
the solar eclipse from where ever you were.<br />
On a much smaller scale, but huge for <strong>Adirondack</strong> <strong>Sports</strong>, we had an amazing<br />
Summer Expo in Saratoga Springs last month! Over 10,000 attendees and 200<br />
exhibitors brought the energy and shared sense of community to our annual gathering<br />
of outdoor sports, recreation and travel enthusiasts. Thank you to ALL of<br />
our exhibitors and attendees! And cheers to our volunteers: Justin and Meghana<br />
Caron, Sam, Media and Jeff Caron, Sudhir and Sheela Kulkarni, Erika Clarkin,<br />
Bruna da Costa Fonseca, and Annette Wolfe.<br />
We hope our locally-produced articles, photos, and unique collection of advertisers<br />
in <strong>Adirondack</strong> <strong>Sports</strong> help bring you a sense of community and motivate you<br />
to actively pursue outdoor activities, get socially engaged with groups or clubs,<br />
make choices to do an event or race, and follow lifestyles that promote ‘healthy<br />
