Leopold Strobls Werke bilden durch die Verwendung<br />
von Zeitungsartikeln das aktuelle Geschehen ab und<br />
sind deshalb auch zeithistorische Dokumente.<br />
Immer wieder kann man unter den Formen Panzer oder<br />
bewaffnete Soldaten erkennen. Strobl kommentiert das mit<br />
den Worten: „Es ist halt gerade auch Krieg.“<br />
Chronicle<br />
Leopold Strobl’s works depict current events through the use of<br />
newspaper articles and are therefore also contemporary historical<br />
documents. Tanks or armed soldiers can repeatedly be recognised<br />
among the forms. Strobl comments on this with the words:<br />
“It’s also war right now.”
