The proposed new design top loading horizontal axis washing machine uses an endless perforated or knitted belt configured as an
open tub which carries lifters for tumbling the clothes. The bottom of the belt loop is soaked in shallow tray of water that can be filled,
drained, rinsed in a conventional manner. The machine utilizes the rotation of the belt carrying the clothes and washing the clothes in
the minimal water available at the bottom of the tub. The pseudo drying and dewatering in the clothes is done by centrifugal action
imparted by the circular path of travel of the clothes or by a vibrator attached under the tub driven by electrical current which shakes
out the water in an effective way to achieve the required level of dewatering.
