Chapter 34 Austin Plant - Plant Family History Group

On 18 th September 1859 we arrived all well in the village of Great Salt Lake. Our train was led into the city
by a two wheel covered cart, drawn by a small white ox..

“The steamship Colarado sailed from Liverpool on 12 th July 1871, calling at Queenstown to collect some
passengers, finally arriving in New York on 25 th July. Onward passage to Salt Lake City was completed on
4 th August.
