INTRODUCTION MMU’s MISSION STATEMENT The Mt. Mansfield Union High School community is committed to ensuring that all students meet academic, civic and social expectations. We are committed to sustaining a healthy school environment that fosters trust, honesty and respect for the opinions and diversity of others. 21 st Century Learning Expectations Academic Expectations: 1. Students will use resources appropriately to access and analyze information and demonstrate learning; 2. Students will use written communication effectively in multiple contexts for a variety of purposes; 3. Students will create an original product that demonstrates a deep understanding of the complexities of a topic; 4. Students will use critical thinking to identify and solve complex problems; 5. Students will demonstrate 21 st century work habits both individually and collaboratively; 6. Students will connect learning to broader contexts; 7.
