Yellow and white 'mums decorated St. Ann's Catholic Church on November 12, as Fa<strong>the</strong>r John Sheffield united Margaret Lyne and Albert Woytkiw of <strong>Quesnel</strong>, in a morning ceremony. Margaret is <strong>the</strong> daughter of Mrs. Anna Lyne of<strong>Quesnel</strong>,and Albert is <strong>the</strong> son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Woytkiw of Benito, Manitoba. Leo Corbiel, friend of <strong>the</strong> family, gave <strong>the</strong> bride away. Church music was supplied by Mrs. J. Girvin. The bride dressed in blue satin, topped with lace, carried a bouquet of yellow roses and white carnations. Her blue veil was ga<strong>the</strong>red at <strong>the</strong> top with blue flowers and she wore matching blue shoes. Matron of honor was Mrs. Irene Annis, sister of <strong>the</strong> bride, who appeared in a yellow satin dress, with a yellow veil and yellow flowers. She carried bronze 'mums for her bouquet. Metro Woytkiw, bro<strong>the</strong>r of <strong>the</strong> groom, was Best Man. Ushers were Pat Morgan and Jerry J. Lyne. A reception for 150 guests was held at <strong>the</strong> Elk's Hall in <strong>the</strong> evening. Blue and white streamers and paper flowers decorated <strong>the</strong> room. Vases of yellow and white 'mums were scattered for extra decor. Gordon Hansen of <strong>Quesnel</strong> was <strong>the</strong> Toastmaster. Mrs. Betty Dressier, sang three selections to honor <strong>the</strong> newlyweds. The bride worked at <strong>the</strong> Post Office in <strong>Quesnel</strong> and <strong>the</strong> groom is an operator for Sullivan C reek Forest Products. The new couple chose Nelson, B.C. for <strong>the</strong>ir future residence. Out-of-town guests at <strong>the</strong> reception were Jim Barbano, uncle of <strong>the</strong> bride, from Crescent Valley, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brown, sister and bro<strong>the</strong>r-in-law of <strong>the</strong> groom, and <strong>the</strong>ir daughter Gail, from Vancouver, Mr. and Mrs. George Giesbrecht of Prince George and Lois Annis, from Victoria. Two Best Men At Evening Wedding St. John's Anglican Church was <strong>the</strong> scene of an evening wedding on November 19, when Fa<strong>the</strong>r R. Freed united Teresa Dorien Wallace, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thomasen, and Allan A. Lust, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lust, Her step fa<strong>the</strong>r gave <strong>the</strong> bride away, while Mrs. Harry Keen played on <strong>the</strong> organ. A shoulder length veil with a tiara of white pearls, matched <strong>the</strong> bride's full length white chiffon gown, that had a satin top. It also had lily point satin sleeves, in which pearls outlined <strong>the</strong> front of <strong>the</strong> neck line. The full length skirt had roses sewn around it and satin red roses made up <strong>the</strong> bride's bouquet. For her heirloom, <strong>the</strong> bride wore a tear drop pearl necklace, a gift from her grandmo<strong>the</strong>r. Lorraine Aspin, was maid of honor. She wore a blue dress with a lace front. Bridesmaid Judy Lust was dressed In pink with a lace front. She carried matching white satin roses with pink ribbons. Her headdress was of pink and blue flowers with a net veil.
