Faith-based Partnerships<br />
FAMILY<br />
Engaging with community organizations is one way that <strong>TFI</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Services</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>. achieves its mission to being “Devoted<br />
to the Strength of <strong>Family</strong>,” and our faith-based partners are a part of that. <strong>TFI</strong> interacts with more than 190 faith-based<br />
organizations throughout Kansas in a given year. Recently <strong>TFI</strong> partnered with Project Belong, a Christian ministry in<br />
Stafford, KS, that works in partnership with the Church, families and the community to recruit, train and support foster and<br />
adoptive families. This working relationship helps fulfill the certification requirements for prospective foster and adoptive<br />
families through Project Belong’s training program. <strong>TFI</strong> also engaged with Faithbuilders in the Wichita area about the<br />
service options they provide and how those fit with <strong>TFI</strong> services. Faithbuilders has provided respite care for <strong>TFI</strong> aftercare<br />
cases and placed children into Faithbuilders homes after out of home referral.<br />
