For over 75 years, trade show Magic has continued
to lead, grow and inspire the fashion industry and
with the recent addition of its FN Platform, the
event asserts its claim as the largest fashion trade
show in the world.
The Magic marketplace plays host to global buyers
and sellers of men’s, women’s and children’s apparel,
footwear, accessories and sourcing resources. Billed
as an ‘incubator’ of fashion, Magic is where new
trends can surface and develop while connecting
the fashion community and offering unbeatable
service to its customers. Magic takes in sections
WWD Magic, Magic Menswear, Project, Pool
Trade Show, Slate, Street, Sourcing at Magic,
Premium and FN Platform for men’s, women’s and
children’s footwear.
WWD Magic and Magic Menswear represents
the full fashion spectrum of their markets with
thousands of exhibitors representing accessories
and footwear categories, as well as the sportswear,
junior, contemporary, casual lifestyle and active
wear sectors to name just a few. The Project
sector of the show features the most influential
and directional contemporary brands in the
marketplace today and counts brands such as Ugg
Australia, L.A.M.B, Dr Martens, G-Star Footwear

and Storm as exhibitors, while Pool Trade Show is
home to more boutique brands.
Designed to complement and expand the Magic
Marketplace experience, FN Platform was launced
in February 2010 and is the first show outside of
Milan to bring such an expansive range of footwear
in one event. FN Platform is broken down into
five lifestyle departments, each anchored with a
lounge that corresponds to the footwear category
it represents. These categories include women’s
fashion footwear, men’s collections, junior and
children’s footwear, men’s and women’s comfort
footwear, and men’s and women’s athletic/casual
footwear. Brands that exhibited at the much
anticipated launch of FN Platform include Stuart
Weitzman, K-Swiss, Kenneth Cole New York,
Naturalizer and Zigi.
This season’s edition of FN Platform is sure to
meet the expectations of fashion accessories buyers
thanks to an impressive list of exhibitors that
more than equals it debut offering of big name
