Eliminate four-wheel drive
engagement problems with
4X4 POSI-LOK
Front Axle Cable Engagement System
* Newer model 4x4 vehicles activate the front differential internally to provide
four-wheel drive, unlike older model vehicles with locking wheel hubs, which
tended to rust and stick.
* GM, Ford, Dodge, and Jeep use a variety of controls, vacuum and electric, to
engage the front axle which can malfunction and prevent four-wheel drive from
occurring.
* Diagnosis of the OE systems can be time consuming and repairs can be costly
with no guarantee that repeat failure will not occur.
* The 4x4 Posi-Lok system converts the vehicle over to a simple cable actuator
which does not rely on vacuum hoses or sensors. Along with providing a positive
engagement the 4x4 Posi-Lok can enable a low range two-wheel drive mode to
aid in close quarter non-scuff turning.
* The package contains everything required for the conversion and can be installed
in a relatively short time.
