6 Exercise classes & courses
There are a wide variety <strong>of</strong> drop-in and sign-up exercise classes and courses for you to choose from including step, yoga and pilates, boxercise, legs, bums and tums, boot camp and circuit training. Specialised dance fitness classes consist <strong>of</strong> Latin Fusion, Hip Hop, Bollywood and Zumba. You can also brush up on your sports skills with our coaching classes in squash coaching, swim technique and swim lessons, back-2-netball, No Strings Badminton and women’s self defence, along with Strength & Conditioning classes at Greenbank Gym to help improve your performance. With all <strong>of</strong> this available to you as part <strong>of</strong> your membership you are sure to find something that improves your fitness levels, introduces you to new people and, ultimately, lets you have fun! Swimming tuition is available to students, staff and members <strong>of</strong> the public. Swim technique This class is for all abilities and will focus on individual personal goals, ultimately making you a more confident and better quality swimmer. Swimming tuition is available to students, staff and members <strong>of</strong> the public. Swim-4-Fitness The programme caters for all swimmers. Individuals can track progress through free online registration membership, which allows them to keep a logbook <strong>of</strong> their swimming. The programme is split into four categories: calm and stretch, tone and shape, fitness, and performance. National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) Become a qualified lifeguard by attending one <strong>of</strong> our National Pool Lifeguard courses, available throughout the year.
