28 The 13 th KVAC International Conference on Transboundary Diseases: Impact on ASEAN One Health Assist.Prof.Dr.Prapansak Chaveerach Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Khon Kaen University Vet Public Health on Food Safety and Trend in the Future in Thailand In 1993, Dr.Prapansak Chaveerach got his D.V.M. from the Faculty of Khon Kaen University and then finished the Ph.D. in Veterinary Public Health from the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Utrecht, The Netherland, in 2002. In administrative tasks, Dr.Prapansak is the Assistant to the President of Khon Kaen university for Academic Affairs and also the Director of Master of Science program in Veterinary Public Health. His interesting research fields are Veterinary Epidemiology, Microbial control in Animal and Meat product (especially Campylobacter and Salmonella), Zoonosis and Risk analysis on Food of animal origin. Prof.Dr.Stan Fenwick Regional Technical Director, RESPOND Bangkok 7 th -8 th June 2012 Kosa Hotel, Khon Kaen, Thailand One Health and the SEAOHUN Network Prof.Dr.Stan Fenwick is B.V.MS. graduated from Glasgow University 1978 and received Masters in Aquatic Veterinary Studies and Masters in Tropical Veterinary Medicine form Stirling University (1980) and Edinburgh University (1981), respectively. During 1978- 1980, he worked in a Dairy cattle practice in Somerset, UK then had been working as Senior Veterinary Field Officer, Yemen Arab Republic from 1982-1986. During 1986- 2001, he was an Associate Professor, Microbiology and finished his PhD (1997) at Massey University and during 2001-2010, Professor, Veterinary Public Health, Murdoch University. From 2010-present he is the Regional Technical Director, RESPOND Bangkok, Thailand.
