Fellowships, Prizes, and Awards
Drexel Engineering Cities (DECI) grant competition award for “Factors Influencing Trust in
Emergency Warning Systems in the PHA Environment,” a collaborative research project
with Jennifer Taylor, Drexel School of Public Health. The award funded developing a white
paper, which was presented at a DECI workshop in February 2010.
John Wiley & Sons Best JASIST Paper Award, 2006 for Zach, L. (2005). When is ‘Enough’
Enough? Modeling the Information-Seeking and Stopping Behavior of Senior Arts
Administrators. Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology,
56(1):23-35(published online 24 August 2004).
President’s Award, Special Libraries Association, 2006 for work with Louisiana and Southern
Mississippi Chapter after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The President’s Award is given in
recognition of important contributions that enhance the Association or further its goals and
objectives.
National Historic Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) Electronic Records
Research fellowship, 2005/2006. NHPRC is the grant making affiliate of the National
Archives and Records Administration; the fellowship program awards four $15,000
fellowships annually to advance the state of knowledge in electronic records.
