1861 (when she was twenty-six) to her death in 1908, and

acquired many palaces and wore fabulous clothes and
jewels. She routinely spent two to three hours a day doing
her toilette. Her lifestyle was a unique mix of old and
new, her Mercedes-Benz pulled by horses and donkeys.
