Huntsman Center The Jon M . Huntsman Center, Utah’s basketball and gymnastics arena, contains offices for athletic administration, sports information, business, marketing, development and event management . The Huntsman Center is located at 1825 East South Campus Drive Front (84112-0900) . Dee Glen Smith Athletics Center The Dee Glen Smith Athletics Center contains the football staff offices, training, equipment and strength areas, meeting and locker rooms . The Smith Center is located at 580 South Guardsman Way . Rice-Eccles Stadium The Utah football team plays its home games at Rice-Eccles Stadium, located at 451 South, 1400 East . Kenneth P. Burbidge Jr. Family Athletics Academic Center The Burbidge Academic Center houses academic advising, compliance and Life Skills . It is located between the north side of the Huntsman Center and the Natatorium . Spence Eccles Field House Indoor practice facility is located at 650 Guardsman Way .

Credentials will be issued at the discretion of the sports information office. Sports Information Office The Utah sports information department is situated in the Jon M . Huntsman Center on South Campus Drive and is accessed through the southeast administrative entrance . Sports information office numbers are: (801) 581-3511, 581-3510, 581-8302, 581-3771, 581-8997. Getting to the Game Rice-Eccles Stadium is located on the southeast corner of the University of Utah campus . From Salt Lake International Airport, exit onto I-80 East . In about two miles, take the 600 South exit (a one-way street heading east) . Turn left on 700 East . Turn right at the second light (400 South) . Go up the hill, through the light at 1300 East and get in the left lane . The stadium will be a half block up on your left . Parking Media parking is available, with a pass, in the lot immediately west of Rice-Eccles Stadium . Parking requests must be made through the sports information office and will not automatically be provided with each credential . Weekly Press Conference A press conference is held on Mondays during the season in the Smith Center Auditorium from noon-1 p .m . Coach Kyle Whittingham and four players will be available for interviews . The press conference is open to media only . It is also video streamed live on utahutes .com . Interview Policies Please contact Associate Athletics Director Liz Abel at (801) 581-3511 to arrange for interviews with Utah coaches and players . Interview requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance . Interviews with players and coaches are conducted immediately following practice on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday . Head coach Kyle Whittingham, only, is available for interviews on Thursday after practice . Interviews are not granted the day before the game or pre-game the day of competition . Practices are open to the media . Post-Game Interviews The Utah locker room is closed to the media . Post-game interview requests for players and coaches must be made through the sports information staff . After all home games, interviews with Coach Kyle Whittingham and requested athletes will be conducted in the Crocker Room, located above the Ute locker room under the south bleachers . Home Game Media Services Game notes, programs, statistics, quotes, media guides and flip cards are distributed at all home games . A meal is served to the press starting an hour and a half prior to kickoff . Wireless Connections/Telephones Wireless access is available free of charge . In addition, there are seven courtesy telephones in the Rice-Eccles Stadium working press area on a first-come, first-serve basis. Broadcast Requests All requests regarding radio broadcasts (live and tape-delayed) should be made through Director of Publications and Broadcasting Mike Lageschulte .
