The skytrap light and skytrap plus singleaxis 

tracking systems represent an affordable 

and effi cient alternative to fi xed 

PV module installation on rigidly aligned 

systems. On account of their optimised, 

coordinated system components, they 

can generate an average of 30 % / 36 % 

respectively higher yield compared with 

fi xed systems.

• Flexible module design and size — the fl exible mount unit allows for both 

horizontal and vertical modular design. The size of of the module platform and 

type of of module are are freely selectable. 

• Quick-Line mounting system — the stand unit is made from the proven, 

long standing aluminium profi les from the DEKRA-certifi ed Quick-Line mounting 

system developed by mp-tec. 

• Selectable drive type — the skytrap trackers are available in two versions. 

Customers may select from astronomical control or optoelectronic 

sensor-controlled tracking. 

• Powerful drive — fi tted with an effi cient linear drive with direct control, the 

skytrap systems can be operated in wind speeds < 118 km/h on the Beaufort 

scale and under heavy snow loads. 

• Long-life — the tracking systems are low-maintenance and long-life, which is why 

mp-tec provides a 15-year guarantee on the mounting system, a 10-year guarantee 

on all steel components, and a 5-year guarantee on the sensor and the astronomical 

control. The drive technology is guaranteed for 5 years.

The mp-tec solar carport is a shelter for 

passenger cars which generates electricity. 

It unites ambition and functionality and 

combines two products into one: a covered 

parking area and a traditional free-standing 

solar system.

Quick-Line assembly system are all that 

is needed to create a solar carport or 

a solar carport system.
