70th reunion!
1937
Jane S. Piltz writes, “My grandson Brian
Piltz graduated from college on June 3 and
my sixth great-grandchild arrived on May
11 in Cameron, Texas.
60th reunion!
1947
Ruth Twombley says hello to all in the class
of 1947.
1948
Regie Colby finished his 19th year as the road
superintendant for the town of Tuftonboro,
New Hampshire. In his retirement, he is
building a lovely home on Route 109A in
Tuftonboro.
1954
Mary L. Blakeslee writes, “Last summer
I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, to be
near my two sons. I also flew to California
to attend my grandson’s graduation. Nine
more such celebrations to go! I was so sorry
to miss our Reunion.”
1965
Jon Skrzyszowski is training for the diving
event of the Senior Olympics.
1980
Alex Ley writes “I am doing fine in Sarasota,
Florida. I am still in the real estate game.
I have two great kids, Nicholas, 19, and
Bianca, 11. Nick is attending the University
of North Florida. I still think of my friends
at Brewster. Hello to David Peterson, Trip
Billings, Peter Rice ’81, and the rest of the
misfits.”
1981
Bill Esty has recently been appointed house
manager of Cornell University’s Bailey
Concert Hall.
25th reunion!
1982
Donna Aldridge writes, “During the day
I am a stay-at-home mom, and at night I
work as an emergency room social worker.
I enjoy my job.”
Jim Thiel writes, “Our son Joseph is entering
fifth grade this year. We have been doing
a little traveling around the country over
the past year. Overall everything is going
well.”
David Eaton ’83 came East in
June to serve as an usher at

1984
Kristin Swenson writes, “Hi Glenn, Gregg,
and Greg, and everyone from ’82 -’84.”
1985
Hank Nusloch writes, “Our home in New
Orleans did not flood following Katrina,
but we still had damage due to wind. The
water came up to about six inches from

going in our house. Many of our friends
lost everything they owned. We were very
lucky. My daughters, Mary and Caroline,
are 5 and 3.”
1986
Chris Seifert writes, “I have a three yearold
daughter Mila. I’ve also been busy
these past years: bartending, working in
advertising, bike messengering around
Boston for eight years. I had plenty of time
to write and did and was published. I fronted
a punk/pop band, wrote lyrics and music.
Presently a stay-at-home dad, though, I just
purchased a fixer-upper in Jamaica Plain,
tearing it down, and dealing with permits,
neighborhood meetings, and contractors,
and just sailed through the Boston Zoning
Board of Appeals.”
20th reunion!
1987
Leslie H. Gamache writes, “I can’t wait for
Reunion! I am busy with four kids – hope all
make it to our 20th.”
John Hamblett writes, “Life is busy and
full with two boys and two full-time jobs.
Still trying to squeeze in some recreating
like biking, surfing, and skiing. Had a fun
visit with Courtney (Crane) Munroe ’88 and
Sage (Daly) Wirth ’88 this summer ... life is
good!” (John is married to Barb (Mathews)
Hamblett ’88).
George P. Ide writes, “Things are great. My
two kids keep me busy. Maddis is turning
3 in October and Aubry just turned 1. I
have another one on the way in December.
Crazy! Look forward to seeing everyone at
the Reunion.”
