70th reunion!<br />
1937<br />
Jane S. Piltz writes, “My grandson Brian<br />
Piltz graduated from college on June 3 and<br />
my sixth great-grandchild arrived on May<br />
11 in Cameron, Texas.<br />
60th reunion!<br />
1947<br />
Ruth Twombley says hello to all in the class<br />
of 1947.<br />
1948<br />
Regie Colby finished his 19th year as the road<br />
superintendant for the town of Tuftonboro,<br />
New Hampshire. In his retirement, he is<br />
building a lovely home on Route 109A in<br />
Tuftonboro.<br />
1954<br />
Mary L. Blakeslee writes, “Last summer<br />
I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, to be<br />
near my two sons. I also flew to California<br />
to attend my grandson’s graduation. Nine<br />
more such celebrations to go! I was so sorry<br />
to miss our Reunion.”<br />
1965<br />
Jon Skrzyszowski is training for the diving<br />
event of the Senior Olympics.<br />
1980<br />
Alex Ley writes “I am doing fine in Sarasota,<br />
Florida. I am still in the real estate game.<br />
I have two great kids, Nicholas, 19, and<br />
Bianca, 11. Nick is attending the University<br />
of North Florida. I still think of my friends<br />
at <strong>Brewster</strong>. Hello to David Peterson, Trip<br />
Billings, Peter Rice ’81, and the rest of the<br />
misfits.”<br />
1981<br />
Bill Esty has recently been appointed house<br />
manager of Cornell University’s Bailey<br />
Concert Hall.<br />
25th reunion!<br />
1982<br />
Donna Aldridge writes, “During the day<br />
I am a stay-at-home mom, and at night I<br />
work as an emergency room social worker.<br />
I enjoy my job.”<br />
Jim Thiel writes, “Our son Joseph is entering<br />
fifth grade this year. We have been doing<br />
a little traveling around the country over<br />
the past year. Overall everything is going<br />
well.”<br />
David Eaton ’83 came East in<br />
June to serve as an usher at<br />
the wedding of his niece, Amy<br />

1984<br />
Kristin Swenson writes, “Hi Glenn, Gregg,<br />
and Greg, and everyone from ’82 -’84.”<br />
1985<br />
Hank Nusloch writes, “Our home in New<br />
Orleans did not flood following Katrina,<br />
but we still had damage due to wind. The<br />
water came up to about six inches from<br />

going in our house. Many of our friends<br />
lost everything they owned. We were very<br />
lucky. My daughters, Mary and Caroline,<br />
are 5 and 3.”<br />
1986<br />
Chris Seifert writes, “I have a three yearold<br />
daughter Mila. I’ve also been busy<br />
these past years: bartending, working in<br />
advertising, bike messengering around<br />
Boston for eight years. I had plenty of time<br />
to write and did and was published. I fronted<br />
a punk/pop band, wrote lyrics and music.<br />
Presently a stay-at-home dad, though, I just<br />
purchased a fixer-upper in Jamaica Plain,<br />
tearing it down, and dealing with permits,<br />
neighborhood meetings, and contractors,<br />
and just sailed through the Boston Zoning<br />
Board of Appeals.”<br />
20th reunion!<br />
1987<br />
Leslie H. Gamache writes, “I can’t wait for<br />
Reunion! I am busy with four kids – hope all<br />
make it to our 20th.”<br />
John Hamblett writes, “Life is busy and<br />
full with two boys and two full-time jobs.<br />
Still trying to squeeze in some recreating<br />
like biking, surfing, and skiing. Had a fun<br />
visit with Courtney (Crane) Munroe ’88 and<br />
Sage (Daly) Wirth ’88 this summer ... life is<br />
good!” (John is married to Barb (Mathews)<br />
Hamblett ’88).<br />
George P. Ide writes, “Things are great. My<br />
two kids keep me busy. Maddis is turning<br />
3 in October and Aubry just turned 1. I<br />
have another one on the way in December.<br />
Crazy! Look forward to seeing everyone at<br />
the Reunion.”
