Maryland. He completed a dissertation
titled “Shifting Whiteness: A Life History
Approach to U.S. White Parents of Biracial
or Black Children.” Woodfork is currently
assistant professor of American studies
at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs,
New York, where he teaches classes on the
African-American experience, diversity in
America, and American autobiography. At
Maryland, Woodfork served as president
of the Chesapeake chapter of the American
Studies Association from 2002-2004. He
also earned numerous other distinctions,
including the Rhonda M. Williams Memorial
Award from the Black Faculty and Staff
Association for his contributions working
with African-American students and his
commitment to teaching.

1995
Amy Kaskiewicz ‘95 was married on June
10 to Jim Streck at Brewster’s Anderson Hall,
formerly the assembly hall, and prior to that,
St. Cecilia’s Church. Amy’s brothers, Michael
‘96 and Eric ‘99, were both groomsmen, and
her uncle, David Eaton ‘83, was an usher
at the wedding. Brewster’s music director,
Andy Campbell, and chamber orchestra
leader, Chris Nourse, provided the music.
Melanie Adams ‘95 was one of the speakers
– she and her husband, Nick, were here
from Maryland. Amy’s mom Jan is the
administrative assistant for the academic
and personnel offices at Brewster.
1996
Caitlin Kirk writes, “On December 10, 2005,
my husband and I became parents to a baby
boy named Griffin.”
1997 10th reunion!
Jeremy Cass is working as a clinical counselor
at Unity College. Life is good! Looking
forward to the Reunion!
Dave Simon writes “I live
in San Francisco. I moved
from Boston last year to live
with my girlfriend and to
take a job with Current TV
– the new cable network
being started by Al Gore.
In the past year, I’ve seen
the network grow from a
small, unknown network to
something that is changing
the television industry. The
job is quite exciting. My role
at the network is director of
broadcast engineering (aka:
professional geek). If you

Rebekah Seaman writes, “I’m back in
Wolfeboro – who knew I’d actually like small
town life. I’ve been coaching at Brewster and
have to say, it’s both fun and interesting to
be on the other side of the equation. I look
forward to seeing everyone at the 10th. I just
came back from the Gay Games, where my
hockey team won silver. It was an amazing
experience.”

Jake Harrington writes, “Hello! I just wanted

Amy Kaskiewicz ’95 married Jim Streck in
June on the Brewster campus
I were marred on June 3 in Borrego Springs,
California. We had a small ceremony with
friends and family. Nick Millette was the
lone Brewster contingent, serving as a topnotch
usher. Tamsin and I are still living in
Washington, DC. She recently graduated
from law school, and I’m still working at
the Center for Strategic and International
Studies, focusing on defense and homeland
