DGE – Dr. Ing. Lothar Günther Engineering GmbH – Lutherstadt
Wittenberg
Press Release 04-07
on the worldwide application of protected rights and know how of the DGE -
Dr. Günther Engineering GmbH Lutherstadt Wittenberg in the fields of gas
processing, the further processing of these gases to highly purified natural gas or
methane qualities and marketable liquid hydrocarbons
DGE GmbH has protected rights and the corresponding know how for the
economic processing of flare gases from the mineral oil and natural gas
production as well as the further processing of prepared high-purity gas qualities
to LNG (liquified natural gas) and liquid fuels. The company`s technologies are
already used for the processing of biogas to highly purified bio natural gas
qualities.
There is a great international demand for such economic methods. Investors
from the gulf region would like to process the flare gases arising during the
natural gas and mineral oil production to marketable gas qualities, transform it
to LNG if required for offering on the world market or producing liquid fuels on
this raw material base. These gases get flared off at present and therefore pollute
the environment substantially. A worldwide processing of these flare gases
would be of outstanding importance for the solution of the climate problem. In
addition, the raw material reserves could be used longer and more effectively.
While seeking for effective technology, investors from the gulf region got aware
of DGE GmbH and its managing partner, Dr. Lothar Günther. After extensive
enquiries they have decided to acquire the corresponding licences for using the
protected rights, safeguarded by patents, and the know-how. With a licence
agreement, AGAC LLC will secure itself the rights for a worldwide application
of technologies for the processing of flare gases. Another object of agreement
becomes the application of protected rights and know-how for the processing of
biogas to biomethane for regions that are not assigned by DGE GmbH yet (Gulf
Region, Africa and Australia).
The new founded Arabian Gas Production Company (AGAC) which belongs to
the Bashraheel Investment Group in Saudi Arabia becomes licencee. Chairman
of this group is Sheikh Fawaz M. Bashraheel.
On request of the investor, the main equipments for the plant complexes are
delivered by the German partner. By that the licencee expresses confidence in
German quality work and certainly would like to exploit the “made in Germany”
predicate on the markets.
The DGE GmbH Wittenberg will extend its engineering capacities and enlarge
the cooperation with efficient enterprises of the plant building sector.
Within the next weeks, the partners will conjointly select and fix locations for
the construction of first plants for processing flare gases in the gulf region. The
erection of the first plant will start immediately.
The partners agree on silence on the terms of the prepared contracts as regards
content.
