Lane Departure Warning System
DriveAlert is constantly monitoring the road in front of you to ensure you remain in
your lane at all times. If the driver begins to change lanes without using his/her turn
signal, DriveAlert will sound an alarm to alert the driver about departing their lane.
If the lane change was not intentional, the driver is warned so the proper correction
can be made.
Forward Collision Warning System
Always alert and always by your side like a co-pilot, Drive Alert is always watching and
calculating the distance and impact time with the car in front of you. The system can
analyze any potential risk in real-time and warn the driver accordingly. DriveAlert is
capable of calculating the risk of a forward collision in advance and sounds the warning
alarm when necessary.
DVR Recording Log
One of the most useful features of DriveAlert is the included Black-Box recorder. It
has several modes of operation that can record audio/video signals onto the included
4 GB Micro SD card (expandable to 32 GB). It is always “on” and recording. When
the memory is full, it will overwrite the oldest files first. It will record the events prior,
during and after an accident to aid in insurance/police investigations. It will store these
events in a separate folder that cannot be overwritten by the system. It can also function
in a surveillance mode. It will record any event the included G-shock sensor detects and
store that info in its own folder. You can also start a recording at any time by pressing
a button on the unit, which will save to its own folder as well. There is an included
viewer program for users to view the recorded files on their computer. DriveAlert also
features a RCA output that can be connected to for real-time monitoring.
