Rosen AV7900 “Quick Change” Multimedia Headrest<br />
Replacement System<br />
Rosen Entertainment Systems has had outstanding reception on its all-new AV7900<br />
“Quick Change” headrest entertainment system.<br />
The unique “Quick-Change” capability is the brainchild of Rosen’s in-house engineering<br />
team based in Corona, California. Each main component option can be ordered separately<br />
or as a complete system depending on the vehicle owner’s specific needs. High-definition<br />
and digital LCD displays, DVD mechanisms and the multimedia option (iPod, iPhone,<br />
iTouch Dock with USB and Micro SD ports) are all independent of each other and simply<br />
snap into the Rosen replacement headrests.<br />
“With the vast majority of vehicle owners and their children owning an iPod or iPhone,<br />
we felt the need to provide a suitable Apple-certified in-vehicle interface option for their<br />
mobile devices while allowing others in the vehicle to share in those entertainment capabilities,”<br />
states Steve Weimar, vice president, sales and marketing.<br />
“The AV7900TM is the ultimate in headrest entertainment systems and a major<br />
advancement in rear-seat entertainment. The unique aspects of this system are the tabletlook<br />
of the HD digital LCD monitors and its ability to be configured specifically for the<br />
customers needs and even modified after the initial installation,” states Weimar.<br />
There are six unique system configurations: 1) dual DVD; 2) single DVD with iPod,<br />
iPhone dock; 3) single DVD with monitor; 4) dual iPod, iPhone docks; 5) single iPod,<br />
iPhone dock with monitor; 6) dual monitors; and, each headrest includes 50 built-in<br />
video games with wireless controller, all-channel FM transmitter and the iPod/iPhone<br />
dock includes ports for 16 GB USB and Micro SD.<br />
The AV7900TM has many additional Rosen-engineered and exclusive features,<br />
including a 7-in. widescreen, HD digital LCD displays and matching factory-styled<br />
headrests (canted slightly forward and laboratory tested to meet or exceed all current<br />
FMVSS regulations).<br />
System expandability includes A/V outputs for two additional monitors, one additional<br />

source unit and the ability to bypass the FM transmitter and hard wire directly to the<br />
vehicle’s audio system. An integrated all-channel wireless FM transmitter allows playback<br />
through the vehicle’s audio system and more. Also included is a pair of two-channel<br />
wireless fold-flat headphones, one wireless game controller, one wireless system remote<br />
control, batteries, cable routing wire tool, quick reference card, detailed owners manual<br />
and more.<br />
