Nov 06 CAST - Potosi... A Community of Character

The Six Rivers West Middle School Honors Band met on November 2 in
Shullsburg. The students rehearsed all day and performed an evening concert. Potosi
students attending that day were: Katie Groom, Rachel Bode, and Brandon Monahan in
the Alto Saxophone section; Ryan Kuster, trumpet; Ariel Steiner, clarinet; Grace
Stotmeister, trombone; Andrew Sedgwick, percussion; and Nicole Reynolds, flute. Eric
Breitsprecker, tenor saxophone, was also nominated, but he was unable to attend.
The students worked hard learning their music and represented Potosi Middle School
quite well. Congratulations to all of them!

Don't forget about the Christmas Concert. It will be Thursday evening, December 7
at 7:30 in the high school gym. And yes, we will be selling poinsettias again this year.
The cost will be $15.00 and color choices are pink, salmon, multicolored, red,
burgundy, and white. If you are interested in purchasing one, please contact Mrs.
Busch or Mrs. Martin. We plan to use them as decorations for the Dec. 7 concert and
will distribute them after the concert. Orders, including payment, need to be in by
November 22.
The Elementary Christmas Program will be on Tuesday, December 19 at
7:30 p.m. in the High School gym. Music Boosters will be having a bake sale
and CAST will be providing punch and cookies after the concert.
The 7 th grade play will be held on Wednesday morning, Dec. 20 th .
