in Ordinary Time-In today’s
Gospel, Jesus asks the rich young man to
give away all that he has in order to have
treasure in heaven. But he is unable to free
himself from his possessions, and so he goes
sadly away. Does what I own keep me
from following Jesus?
Campaign Corner-October 10th-11th, 2009
Thank you to everyone who has given so generously to our
capital campaign. And a very special thanks to everyone
who continues to faithfully fulfill their pledge commitment!
On September 20, 2009, the parish celebrated its
20 th Anniversary. We are making a big push during our
20 th Anniversary year to finish the campaign. For those
who have not yet had a chance to make a pledge, please
consider doing so now. If you made a one-time gift and
can help again – please consider making an additional investment.
If we all do our part, we will succeed in reaching
our goal. Below is a chart offered to help families decide
what level of investment is affordable:
