Rumbaugh Outstanding Student<br />
Leader Award<br />
This award recognizes an outstanding student leader of one or more <strong>SAE</strong> activities and,<br />
through the award, encourages a vision within the recipient to become an <strong>SAE</strong> leader<br />
during his/her adult career.<br />
Established in 2002 through a generous contribution from Max E. Rumbaugh, Jr., past<br />
<strong>SAE</strong> Executive Vice President (1986-2001), this award illustrates his avid support for<br />
encouraging leadership qualities and opportunities within the ranks of <strong>SAE</strong> supporters.<br />
The award consists of lifetime adult membership in <strong>SAE</strong>, a sponsored trip to an <strong>SAE</strong><br />
conference / meeting, a framed medallion, and an honorarium.<br />
