Russell S. Springer Award<br />
This award recognizes the author of an original and outstanding technical paper presented<br />
at an <strong>SAE</strong> meeting or any of its Sections and is published in <strong>SAE</strong> literature in the year<br />
for which the recipient is selected. <strong>SAE</strong> members who are 36 years of age or younger and<br />
whose paper is a distinct contribution to the literature of the profession of automotive<br />
engineering will be recognized through this award.<br />
Established in 1954, this award honors Russell S. Springer who funded this award through<br />
his bequest. The award consists of a framed certificate and an honorarium.<br />
