• A 15-passenger, handicapped accessible,<br />
air conditioned bus, which cost more than<br />
$55,000, for M.M. Ewing Continuing Care<br />
Center residents and Brighter Day participants<br />
• A $4,500 automatic door for easier access<br />
to M.M Ewing Continuing Care Center’s<br />
rosewood section<br />
• A $9,000 contribution towards the<br />
Debra r. Hawks Memorial Garden<br />
• Proceeds of more than $11,000 from the<br />
Guild’s Basket raffle, which funded eight<br />
Logitech ® Pro 9000 Web Cameras to<br />
connect <strong>Thompson</strong> off-sites with the main<br />
campus, an LCD-LED HD Tv for use during<br />
educational activities, plus numerous<br />
other workplace enhancements<br />
• A $10,000 contribution to the Health System’s<br />
Education Fund, allowing Associates the<br />
opportunity to attend workshops, seminars<br />
and certification courses<br />
• A $17,500 veinviewer ® vision Imaging<br />
System for <strong>Thompson</strong>’s Birthing Center,<br />
making Iv insertions and blood draws<br />
quicker and less painful for babies<br />
• A $350,000 contribution with funds<br />
from the regina Crowe estate to<br />
upgrade the Urgent Care Center on<br />
route 332 in Farmington<br />
• A $300,000 pledge to the Building a<br />
Healthy Future Capital Campaign<br />
• A $10,000 Underwater Aquatic Treadmill<br />
for the new hydrotherapy center, purchased<br />
with profits from the Guild’s Fashion Show<br />
