In partnership with The Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing
Arts Center (CMAC) and the Canandaigua Family YMCA, Thompson Health
distributed more than 70 flu shots at a free flu clinic in november. This clinic
for the uninsured and underinsured was made possible through monetary “tips”
collected during the summer by CMAC Ambassadors at the robert Mondavi
wine tent. The Ambassadors, volunteers from Constellation Brands, Inc.
who staffed the tent during each of the 23 events at CMAC, collected nearly
$2,000. CMAC matched the amount for a total donation of $4,000 to fund the
free flu vaccinations and other efforts promoting health and wellness in the
Canandaigua community.
