Dear partners,
We are pleased to inform you that the Politecnico di Milano offers free of charge Italian language courses
to its international students regularly enrolled in one of its courses.
TWO-WEEK INTENSIVE ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSE IN COMO CAMPUS – COMO
- AUGUST 29 TO SEPTEMBER 9, 2011
THE APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR THIS LANGUAGE COURSE WILL OPEN FROM
JUNE 15 TO JULY 6, 2011
Levels offered: beginners, pre-intermediate and intermediate.
Places available: 120-130 exchange students (Erasmus students and students participating to exchange
programmes, such as Double Degrees programmes, Unitech programme, bilateral exchanges
programmes, MEDES programme, etc.).
Course schedule: 50 hours approximately, including entrance and final tests:
Monday to Friday , 5 hours per day, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Attendance is compulsory. All admitted students have to start attending the course from August 29.
The course will offer some optional integration activities, such as a tour of Como town and a meeting
with the Erasmus Student Network.
Students have to pay for:
- their own travel and living expenses
- a small fee to buy their course materials

The integration activities are optional. Students can apply for after their arrival in Como.

Applications for the two-week Italian language course can be accepted upon availability of places, the
applicants’ Italian language skills (the course is addressed in particular to students who have not
studied Italian yet or who are at elementary or pre-intermediate levels) and their acceptance by
Politecnico di Milano within the framework of an exchange programme for the academic year
2011/2012.
Please, note that applicants exceeding the number of available places, can apply for another Italian
language course that will be offered by Politecnico di Milano over the academic year.
