LUCYANNA HITCH AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE<br />
Applications are being accepted for the <strong>2010</strong>/2011<br />
Lucyanna Hitch Award for Excellence.<br />
The award serves to recognize the graduating<br />
student from any program who best exemplifies<br />
the <strong>College</strong> Values.<br />
Eligible applicants for this call include all October<br />
<strong>2010</strong>, December <strong>2010</strong>, and <strong>May</strong> 2011 graduates /<br />
candidates for graduation from any program who<br />
are in good standing.<br />
This is an annual award given in memory <strong>of</strong><br />
Lucyanna Hitch, a long-time dedicated <strong>College</strong><br />
advocate. The award recipient is announced at<br />
commencement and receives a plaque and modest<br />
cash award. Award winners are commemorated<br />
on the cumulative award plaque permanently on<br />
display at the <strong>College</strong> in the Student Activities<br />
Conference Room, Room 102A. This award has<br />
been given annually since 1988.<br />
Applications will be accepted until noon on Friday,<br />
April 1, 2011.<br />

NISHIOKA FAMILY FACULTY EXCELLENCE AWARD<br />
Nominations are being accepted for the <strong>2010</strong>/2011<br />
Nishioka Family Faculty Excellence Award.<br />
Is there a faculty member you believe should<br />
be acknowledged for their contributions?<br />
Is there a faculty member who has been<br />
integral to your nursing education at the<br />
<strong>College</strong>?<br />
Students are encouraged to participate in the<br />
nomination process for this annual award.<br />
This award is sponsored through a generous<br />
contribution from Hiro Nishioka, M.D. and<br />
recognizes a nursing faculty member for<br />
contributions in the areas <strong>of</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>essional nursing<br />
advancement, nursing education advancement,<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essional behavior and growth, and support <strong>of</strong><br />
the <strong>College</strong>. This award has been given annually<br />
since 1990.<br />
The award recipient is announced at<br />

at the <strong>College</strong> in Conference Room 212.<br />
