2N Power Configuration The 2N power configuration contains the base power configuration (PDU 1) and a second PDU, PDU number 2. This configuration provides power to the same components as N+1, plus power for: ■ Optional, redundant load sharing power supplies ■ Two additional accessory racks for customer components ■ Redundant controller cards Note – The 2N PDU is required for the 2N drive power, 2N robotic power, and also for the additional rack installed. 14 SL8500 User’s Guide • June 2010 Revision: KB • 96154
